2016-2020
The ODD Weekend was last run in 2015. In July 2016 the eleventh member of our family arrived into the world and, after 5 events and a steadily growing fleet (from 6 boats in 2011 to 17 boats in 2015) we decided to call it a day. In 2020, for the LRYC 250th Anniversary, the LRYC Committee invited us to run the event again, and we readily agreed. Unfortunately Covid-19 put paid to plans for the 2020 event, which is now going to be run in 2021 instead!

Puzzle Competition
Can’t remember what the puzzles were, but the results depended on (a) how many you got right, and (b) how quickly you submitted your entry.

2013 Results
Not sure which races were ODD and which weren’t, but I know that R2 and R4 were ODD, and R7 was the Slalom.
The owners of boats placed 17th= were enjoying the weather but not out sailing – in fairness they hadn’t even entered the regatta and I only included them on the results sheet to try and shame them into getting their boats out the following year!
2012 Results
In 2012 the ODD Weekend ran in conjunction with the LRYC Open Regatta.
2011 Results
In 2011 we tried POD races, Crews in Company, Sprints, Backwards Races, and Relay Races. Everything worked well but there were a few requests for a little bit more ‘standard’ racing, which is why it was pared back in subsequent years.
2010 Results
The 2010 Results were securely stored on a beer mat and have been lost to the winds of time forever.
